Whether it’s a full broadcast in Studio 1 or a fashion shoot in the Content Studio, Department Studios is where the creative beat of the city is happening. Each studio is available as dry hire or if you require additional technical support for large-scale productions, our delivery partner Versa Studios can support with their world-class expertise.
THE INVENTORY
Department Bonded Warehouse Studios – 535 sq ft to 1872 sq ft
Department Bonded Warehouse houses six interconnecting studios that offer the ability to expand and contract to your production needs. Capable of separating into six individual areas, or merging into larger studio set-ups, flexibility and choice for all manner of production is catered for.
- Studio 1 is the perfect place to view your final-cut, with a boutique finish, your clients can enjoy a full cinematic experience in this unique space. It can also be used as a Dolby edit and finishing room.
- Studios 2 – 6 all have an exoskeleton grid system, with a 270-degree tab track that allows an easy rigging process and turnaround procedure. These small multi-camera / multi-purpose studios have a range of uses that include: small studio sets with multiple cameras, virtual reality green screen, white infinity curve for a larger TV studio look, stop motion, podcasts, product filming and training media content.
Each studio is acoustically treated and independently powered, they come equipped with 63 amp, 3-phase supply, available for use daily or long-term.
The studios come with various layout options from carpet and resin floors, with and without truss lighting systems, as well as furnishing and equipment options. We offer easy-to-add extras in partnership with Versa Studios, making production as easy as possible, including set, lighting design and delivery.
Need more space? No problem, because these spaces interconnect and can expand up to 174 sq m / 1,872 sq ft. The studios are serviced by breakout areas that consist of kitchen, toilets, shower facility, production spaces, workshop, tech and scenic stores, in addition to further multi-functional spaces that can provide green rooms, dressing rooms and much more.

Studio 1
Studio 1 is the largest space within the complex. The perfect studio for a production that needs independence and privacy, as the studio sits as a self-contained, stand-alone building next to its own lot with full ancillary spaces inside (wardrobe, props, dressing rooms and production offices).
Technical support and expertise is led by our delivery partner, Versa Studios.

Content Studio
